You are right, I am not entirely sure if weba is real, there are mentions of it in http://groups.google.com/a/webmproject.org/group/webm-discuss/browse_thread/thread/6217a9e16cbc52ff/a2087f316ccb79ce but on the guidelines at http://www.webmproject.org/code/specs/container/#naming there is only .webm so I am not sure.

Anyways, having the mime type for the .webm only works for me too :)

ok, thanks for the pointer...

the servers should all now be updated to serve the desired Content-type
(and I setup "WebA" files just in case it is/becomes real 8-)

Hi Lou,

thanks for the offer!
we plan to move towards it very soon.
I have some suggestions for the WebM (encoding/tec) FAQ
that we are now doing here (not yet live) that I think would benefit others, too.
I've met JonL at a recent FOMS conference before so feel free to get us back in touch together, too.
